Jessica Simpson’s Weight Gain
**Update to the post below. Ok, Ok, maybe Jessica Simpson gained a few more pounds than I first thought. It still doesn’t matter to me, she is still a very attractive woman, even if she is wearing mom jeans once in awhile.
Honestly, I have many more things to do besides wonder if Jessica Simpson has gained weight, but everywhere I look I seem to read stories about how the hot and beautiful Jessica Simpson has gotten fat.
Are they serious?
I keep reading that Jessica Simpson has gained 15 pounds. Oh, no, what would one do if they gained 15 pounds? I gain 15 pounds from looking at food and I don’t think it is a major health concern if Jessica Simpson gains a little more fat on her radically skinny body.
Just from the way the two different pictures portray her, it is clear that we are to believe that the one on the left is her “fat” picture. Of course she is also a bit washed out from an overexposed flash, not looking at the camera, and has a vacant look on her face. The second picture she is clearly posing, smiling and all tanned and ready for the camera. Does Jessica Simpson really look that much worse on the left? Yeah, I don’t think so either. If I looked like the Jessica Simpson fat picture on the left I would be counting my lucky stars. If I was dating her I wouldn’t have time to sit and write this blog.
Jessica Simpson has reportedly stated that her weight gain (eeeeeek 15 pounds, oh no!) is from stress eating because she is nervous about her upcoming country album. Fine, she’s a stress eater, but Jessica Simpson is a far cry from fat and it this perpetuation of the image of an ideal woman that makes famous people like Jessica worry over a few measly pounds.
Other rumors are that she is gaining weight because she is pregnant with Tony Romo’s child. So what if she is? If Jessica Simpson wants the public to know that she is pregnant with Tony Romo’s baby, she will tell us. Until then, why do we speculate so much?
I know that writing a blog post about a famous star only continues the cycle and I have become a cog in the wheel of commercialism by writing about Jessica Simpson getting fat. What I want to be clear about is that I think Jessica Simpson is beautiful and a few extra pounds is neither noticeable nor a detriment to her physical beauty. Regardless of why she “has gained weight”, she has the right to and shouldn’t feel that she needs to explain it to the world.

The dress on the left is completely not right for her either. Spandex though comfortable snugs and clings at all the curves that we have.
Nor the lesbians. I hate to be a non-feminist ogler right now, but please, stacked is the word.
Lola, sorry about the L Word censorship. You ARE right. Jenny is fg with everyone’s head one by one. I gagged when they started kissing, just too fake!
I live in a town full of lesbians, I don’t see any of “the L Word” kind here!
I think Jessica Simpson looks terrific and fat she ain’t. Now if she could only gain 15 IQ points instead of pounds, she would be quite fetching indeed.
Great post, btw. Your pal, Ms. Therese from Careermysteries.today.dom and Healthmysteries.today.com.
Sorry about that… not .dom, .com.
I’ve only seen this after 6 weeks. At first the pictures are shocking, and the pap are ofcourse going to go for the proverbial jungular. You have to ask your self this question as a woman though, “How many of you have looked in the mirror, and not liked what you’ve seen?”
By all means we’re entitled to ridicule and cackle heartily over supposed *Fatty* pictures, but just remember next time you see that roll over the top of your jeans, remember what you thought about Jessicas’ doctored pictures. Yes people, they industry that air brushes the hell out of images we see in glossy mags and advertisements are fully utilised for the oposite side aswell.
Scroll up again, and take a long hard look at the two photos again. Look at the cut of the dress on the left, it’s black and a boob tube. It’s incredibly hard to pull off. I’m not going to have a dig at anyone, but be honest with yourselves. Most of us don’t see ourselves that often in photos. An outfit looks different in the mirror, to how it does on film.
Next look at the length. The dress on the left begins at the curviest part of her thigh, and the dress on the left starts at her knee.
Also bigger fuller bodied dresses create the perception of minimalising whatever asset they shrowd around. Basically a puffy dress will make your legs and arms look smaller. You all really knew this though.
I’m not ashamed to comment on here, because it affects all of us. I was never one of those girls who were worried about their weight, and that was because I was lucky. We all change shape though and after 21 you start to put on a little extra weight. I’m 23 so it’s not like I’m middle aged. I’m also a size ten. I have a great figure I know, but I accept that I’ll always want to be the same figure I was at 21. I eat maybe 1000 calories if I’m splurging, but after a meal it’s laxatives for me. I know this is wrong, but I just wanted to show you. I don’t do it for anyone but me. I’m not bothered about dating, and boy friends.
Maybe you will feel sorry for me reading this, or maybe you’ll think stupid cow. You’d be perfectly right, but with my education you’d be judging me wrong.
One final word of warning. Everytime you pour over glossy mags and scrutinise another females figure. Be they skinny model, or your average Jill. Every negative thought you make, is not really about the picture you’re looking at. You’re subconsciously being negative about yourself. Just be aware of it from time to time, and this can be enough. That little voice reminding you, that you are just human.
Please don’t judge your self too harshly ladies. All the best.
Thank you Helen. I agree with you wholeheartedly and if my post didn’t fully portray that, I apologize.
