You have about 24 hours left before Mother’s Day
Sunday, May 10 is mother’s day for all of you who have a mother that you have not yet bought a gift for. This post is a reminder for everyone to call their mother, send a card, or take her out to dinner. (Not that most of you need reminding, but just in case).
Being a mother is hard work. They stayed up late at night, fed you every three hours, changed your stinky butt and made sure that you had what you needed. They wiped boogers off your face, spit up with their shirts. They waited patiently for your first smile. Believe me.
You may no longer need mommy to feed you a bottle, but she was there, every night feeding you and taking care of your every whim. You were (and still are) the light of your mother’s life even if now you live on your own, she’ll likely remember you as her little baby who cuddled with her in the wee hours of the morning.
For all the mothers out there, Happy Mother’s Day. For all the children out there, call your mother.
